About The Position

Grind rejected and scrap products into a flake and place flake into properly designated silos. This role involves observing and inspecting the grinder for proper functioning, damage, wear, and tear, including checking silos for fullness and inspecting parts like blades. The position also requires completing grinding inventory reporting documents, assisting other Extrusion Technicians with Gaylord boxes or stacking, participating in periodic inventory counts, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Available to work overtime when needed
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Observes and inspects grinder for proper functioning, damage, wear, and tear.
• Checks the silos on a periodic basis, observing silo readings for fullness, observing damaged and broken parts, specifically the blades.
• Completes grinding inventory reporting documents.
• Assist other Extrusion Technicians with Gaylord boxes or stacking when needed.
• Participates in periodic inventory counts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
