About The Position

The Reclaim Grinder grinds rejected and scrap products into flake and places the flake into designated silos. The role includes monitoring grinder operation and condition, maintaining grinding inventory records, supporting Extrusion Technicians when needed, and participating in inventory counts. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a starting rate of $13.25 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Available to work overtime when needed.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Grind rejected and scrap products into flake and place the flake into properly designated silos.
• Observe and inspect the grinder for proper functioning, damage, wear, and tear, including periodically checking silos, monitoring silo fullness readings, and identifying damaged or broken parts such as blades.
• Complete grinding inventory reporting documents.
• Assist other Extrusion Technicians with Gaylord boxes or stacking when needed.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
