About The Position

Revere Health is seeking a Medical Receptionist for its Family Medicine/Urgent Care practice in Lehi Willowcreek. The role involves maintaining a professional image and providing outstanding customer service while supporting patients, visitors, providers, and staff. The successful candidate will be friendly, energetic, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This is a part-time position. The clinic is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the schedule varies according to clinic needs and may include weekend and evening shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent computer, telephone, and communication skills.
• Customer service skills, organization, and attention to detail.
• Dependable, friendly, professional, and a team player.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and stressful environment and manage a multi-line telephone system.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push, and/or carry up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Weekend and evening shifts as needed, with a schedule that varies according to clinic needs.

Nice To Haves

• Medical office experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in person or by telephone, and answer or appropriately refer inquiries.
• Schedule appointments in person, by telephone, or using computer software to support patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment-room utilization.
• Obtain and accurately record patient demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Collect co-payments and account payments, and reconcile daily cash reports.
• Respond appropriately to unexpected office events and situations.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients’ personal, health, and financial information.
• Follow office policies and procedures, and report needed changes.
• Contribute to the team by completing related results and other duties as assigned.
