About The Position
GREENWOOD CARE, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, Illinois, is seeking a Part Time Receptionist. This is a Union Position offering $18.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a professional appearance, and excellent customer service skills. The available shift is Part Time, 12am - 8am, working 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts every other week, including every other weekend, totaling 56 hours per pay period. Greenwood Care provides a pleasant work environment and a collaborative staff, and is dedicated to the treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric illnesses. The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDHP).
Requirements
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Some experience with a multi line phone system
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must speak, read, and write English
- Must be tolerant, compassionate and understanding of individuals with psychiatric conditions
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the mental health field preferred
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls, keep records
- Welcome and direct visitors and vendors upon arrival to the facility
- Monitor what residents bring into the facility
- Manage files and tend to office duties, including typing, filing, sorting mail, directing faxes
- Keep lobby safe and tidy
