About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Full-Time Receptionist to join our team at Harbor Child Care. As the first point of contact for parents, children, and staff, the Receptionist plays a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft word and Microsoft excel.
  • Must have general PC skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or higher level of education preferred.
  • Background in business administration helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist parents, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain and update student attendance records.
  • Handle daily correspondence and communication, including emails and phone calls.
  • Schedule tours for prospective parents and manage appointment calendars.
  • Assist with the enrollment process, providing necessary paperwork and guidance.
  • Support the administrative team with tasks such as filing, data entry, and supply orders.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Handle inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow safety and security protocols, including checking visitor IDs.
