About The Position

ACCESS Community Health Network (ACCESS) is a mission-driven organization impacting community healthcare locally and nationally. This position serves as the patients' first point of contact, creating a welcoming and supportive environment at the front desk. The Receptionist will guide patients through check-in, collect accurate data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure a smooth and efficient visit. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality customer service to support ACCESS' patient-centered medical home model and advance organizational goals for improved patient care and community health outcomes. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience with Epic, a leading Electronic Medical Record system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills
  • Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
  • CPR/Basic Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Receptionist experience in a health care setting
  • Customer service experience
  • Administrative experience
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems experience
