About The Position
The Receptionist at Livewell Animal Hospital of Salmon Creek serves as the first point of contact for clients and helps coordinate the hospital’s daily operations. The role manages a multi-line phone system, greets clients, maintains accurate medical records, schedules appointments, and processes financial transactions. It also supports pet wellness by educating clients about preventative care and hospital services, while providing compassionate, empathetic support to clients and their pets. The position requires excellent customer service, strong communication and organizational skills, sound judgment in stressful situations, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. The receptionist works collaboratively with the team and independently as needed. Veterinary software experience is preferred. A flexible schedule that includes some weekends and holidays is required. This is a full-time, on-site position at Livewell Animal Hospital of Salmon Creek in Vancouver, Washington, with a base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour or salary based on experience and role.
