About The Position

As a Receptionist, you'll be one of the first people residents, families, guests, and team members connect with each day. Through a warm welcome, a friendly smile, and a genuine desire to help, you'll create meaningful first impressions and help people feel at home in our community. Whether you're answering questions, providing directions, assisting visitors, or helping residents find the support they need, you'll play an important role in making every interaction positive and welcoming. You'll also help keep the community running smoothly by serving as a central hub for communication and support. From answering and directing calls to coordinating room reservations, scheduling, processing requests, distributing mail and information, and supporting administrative needs across the community, you'll help ensure people, information, and resources stay connected. Whether welcoming a prospective resident, assisting a team member, or responding to an unexpected situation, you'll be a trusted resource who helps create a welcoming, organized, and caring environment where residents and team members feel supported every day.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and the ability to learn new technology
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain HIPAA and privacy standards
  • Knowledge of front desk operations, scheduling, and administrative support practices
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • One year of receptionist, customer service, administrative, hospitality, healthcare, or related experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills that help create a welcoming, positive experience for residents, families, guests, and team members.
