About The Position

The Receptionist will make an impact by assisting our clients with their risk management and insurance needs each and every day. This role involves greeting visitors, managing office operations, and supporting the service team.

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of experience in using a multi-line telephone system
  • Commitment to continuous learning
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
  • Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
  • Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
  • Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors that come into the office
  • Maintain tidiness of lobby and common areas
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Identify opportunities to engage with customers
  • Enthusiastically engage in company culture and corporate goals
  • Identify complex requests and triage to designated service team or carrier
  • Maintain updated customer files including policy information, correspondence, and contact information
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Assist Account Managers as needed
