About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Receptionist to be the "First Face" of The Madison Senior Living community. As the initial point of contact for visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service and serve as a welcoming host. You will also act as a "Go-To Guide" by answering or directing questions from residents, vendors, guests, and employees, whether in person or via telephone. Additionally, you will be an "Exceptional Assistant" to the administrative team, completing assigned tasks and ensuring professional and timely answering of phone calls.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical solving skills if needed.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Criminally cleared.
  • In good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
  • Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping most of the day.
  • Sedentary periods of one to three hours are also required.
  • Ability to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming host and "First Face" of the community, providing exceptional customer service during every interaction.
  • Answer, or help find the answer, to any questions received by residents, vendors, guests, or employees, whether in person or by telephone.
  • Assist the administrative team in completing any tasks assigned.
  • Ensure that phone calls are answered in a timely and professional manner.
