About The Position

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for a Receptionist Office Coordinator in its Jackson, Mississippi office. This important role serves as the person of first engagement who greets and welcomes all visitors and staff to the office. Physical presence in the office is an essential duty of this position.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and proof of insurance
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines and copiers
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with all employees, follow instructions effectively, and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a group or independently
  • Must provide minimum authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma preferred, but not required
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints

Responsibilities

  • Data entry / keyboard skills using standard computer office software
  • Microsoft program knowledge- Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Assist in the mail room/copy center sorting mail, copying, binding, scanning, assisting with projects
  • Prepare, set-up and clean conference rooms
  • Delivery, pick up and filing of documents at local courts
  • Delivery and pick up of documents / boxes using personal vehicle
  • Assist with the planning of all office events/meetings
  • Receives, records, and communicates information from callers to appropriate personnel
  • Maintains record of outgoing deliveries
  • Schedules and maintains records for utilization of conference rooms
  • Maintains neatness of lobby and reception area
