Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking a Receptionist/Office Assistant to join their rapidly growing team and work out of their Financial District location. The Receptionist/Office Assistant will function as the primary administrative employee at the office. This role will sit at the front desk, assist with answering a high-volume of incoming calls and greeting visitors where necessary. This employee will monitor office supplies and kitchen staples (ex. milk, seltzer, etc.) and order where appropriate. While the bulk of our mail is handled by our Garden City office, this employee will intake, scan and review incoming mail and will assist in processing a limited number of outgoing items. Additionally, this employee may be tasked with some social media and marketing projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), is able to remain calm and collected when handling escalated calls, is super organized, has outstanding computer skills and works well under pressure.
