About The Position

The Center for Community Resources is seeking a qualified individual to perform a variety of skilled administrative and clerical duties in direct support of program management activities. This is a full-time position with daylight hours, Monday through Friday. The agency has been voted a Best Place to Work for 11 consecutive years and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent with one year of clerical experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with staff, guests, and consumers in a pleasant, professional manner.
  • Proficient computer skills that include fluent knowledge of word, excel, and adobe.
  • Able to exercise sound judgment.
  • Able to plan and be well organized.
  • Takes the initiative and is flexible and cooperative.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Able to use standard office equipment and ability to prioritize and balance receptionist responsibilities with clerical support.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day support utilizing clerical, secretarial and administrative skills to various components of the agency.
  • Provide clerical duties to support the agency programs, including proofreading, answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, and mail duties.
  • Provide good customer service to all guests entering the building and/or calling.
  • Proofread documents, possess proper grammar and spelling.
  • Answer the phone with a pleasant and welcoming tone of voice.
  • Communicate with peers and leadership in a respectful way.
  • Assist leadership with scheduling of appointments.
  • Create and mail letters on behalf of the agency.
  • Interact with community members in need or in a CRISIS situation.
  • File documents in accordance to CCR standards.
  • Complete phone customer satisfaction surveys for various programs.
  • Demonstrate good time management skills.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.
