Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • High School Graduate.
  • Experience in cash handling or ability to demonstrate related skill set.
  • Ability to maintain professional work-related practices including safety, alertness, dependability, responsibility, initiative, good judgment, cleanliness, and ability to work with all ages.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures - phone skills, ability to multitask and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patrons and provides customer service by answering emails and phone calls regarding registrations, questions about the facility, and directing the caller to the appropriate person by transfer or message.
  • Assist with and support special event set-up/tear-down and general program needs as requested.
  • Retain knowledge of district programming and policies.
  • Assist with creating or updating documents in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Complete facility maintenance and light cleaning as needed.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the facility.
  • Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
