Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or other related field - Required
Experience with multiple hand and power tools including saws - Required
Time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines - Required
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization - Required
Ability to work professionally with others - Required
Strong problem-solving skills - Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Required
Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills - Required

Responsibilities

Accept incoming freight from delivery trucks using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
Complete appropriate paperwork for incoming inventory.
Inspect incoming shipments for damage.
Report missing or broken items to manager.
Place incoming products onto shelves, racks or in designated warehouse zones maintaining organization.
Drive forklift safely, according to all applicable laws.
Coordinate distribution process with various departments.
Monitor freight movement using various computer software applications.
Assist with material handling and truck loading when needed.
May use various types of hand tools and power tools.
Continuously work in a manner to ensure safety of self and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
