About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Logistics and Fulfillment Professional supports the store’s daily receiving, logistics, and fulfillment operations according to company standards. The work includes preparing and packing merchandise for shipment, fulfilling customer orders, unpacking and censoring new receipts, completing markdowns, and returning goods to vendors. The role calls for speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork to help deliver a high-quality customer experience and drive business results.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and self-starter ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; color vision may be involved.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor.
Support and administer new receipt processing according to company standards.
Search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms for all fulfillment types.
Apply packing policies and techniques to ensure customer packages arrive in excellent condition.
Participate in logistical initiatives, including returns to vendors (RTVs), CDTs, price changes, damages and salvages, and job outs.
Use and become proficient with technology.
Support the store during big-day events.
