About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Logistics and Fulfillment Professional supports the daily operation of the store by executing merchandise receiving, logistics, and fulfillment functions according to company standards. Responsibilities may include preparing and packing merchandise for shipment, fulfilling customer orders, unpacking and censoring new receipts, executing markdowns, and returning goods to vendors. The role requires speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork to help drive business results.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and self-starting ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor.
Support and administer new receipt processing according to company standards.
Search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms for all fulfillment types.
Apply packing policies and techniques to ensure customer packages arrive in excellent condition.
Participate in logistical initiatives, including RTVs, CDTs, price changes, damages and salvages, and job-outs.
Embrace and become proficient with technology.
Support the store during big-day events.
