About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Logistics and Fulfillment Professional supports the daily operation of the store by executing merchandise receiving, logistics, and fulfillment functions according to company standards. Responsibilities include preparing and packing merchandise for shipment, fulfilling customer orders, unpacking and censoring new receipts, executing markdowns, and returning goods to vendors. The role calls for speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork to support business results.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor.
Support and administer new receipt processing according to company standards.
Search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms for all fulfillment types.
Learn and apply packing policies and techniques to ensure customers receive packages in excellent condition.
Participate in logistical initiatives, including RTVs, CDTs, price changes, damages/salvages, and job outs.
Embrace and become proficient with technology.
Support the store during big-day events.
