As a Receiving Supervisor with Tradebe, you will be supervising your shift and handling daily inventory, sampling, and labeling of drums in receiving. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have prior industrial, operations, or manufacturing experience.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Experience performing inventory and quality control activities
  • Must be able to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOP’s, manifests, bills' of lading
  • Ability to work independently with little to minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of previous supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Previous industry experience and knowledge of DOT regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by adhering to regulations, standards, and internal policies, while promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Serve as a working supervisor, overseeing the performance and activities of the shift personnel in Receiving
  • Foster a culture of safety by prioritizing and ensuring compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with the RCRA Part B Permit, while assigning daily tasks to staff.
  • Supervise the inventory, sampling, and labeling of received drums, as well as the movement of drums within the warehouse.
  • Ensure that sorted containers are properly transferred to designated facility areas
  • Ensure sorted materials are sampled, processed, transferred, or stored in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all area equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
