About The Position

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The role handles freight, supports merchandising, maintains an organized receiving area, and contributes to efficient store operations. The position calls for a supportive, courteous, value-minded, committed, growth-oriented, and honest approach in working with associates and customers.

Requirements

• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving deliveries and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising products, recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
