About The Position

The Receiving Specialist ensures the receiving and accurate accounting of all items delivered to the facility. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, reliable attendance, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. The position also includes handling raw materials and parts, inspecting deliveries, maintaining material traceability, and monitoring liquid nitrogen and liquid argon tank levels. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to conform to established safety practices.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoop.
• Excellent attendance habits and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials and parts from trucks by hand or by fork truck.
• Verify that delivered parts physically and quantitatively match the vendor’s packing list and the purchase order.
• Inspect parts for specifications, material trace codes, and general visual condition.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts for engineering inspection.
• Receive parts in the order specified by receiving reports.
• Ensure no part leaves the receiving area before it is received into the system.
• Print and apply labels for material traceability.
• Record and report liquid nitrogen and liquid argon tank levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
