About The Position

The Receiving/Put Away Associate receives incoming shipments, verifies and inspects products, and stores inventory in designated warehouse locations. The role also maintains inventory records, supports cycle counts and audits, and helps with pick-and-pack work when not actively receiving. Work takes place inside a warehouse and trucks, in a potentially hot, non-temperature-controlled environment, and can be very physical. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., at $18 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds or more.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to use an RF scanner.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Ability to meet productivity and accuracy metrics.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify shipment quantities and inspect products for damage.
• Match deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Label inventory and store it in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the receiving area organized and clean.
• Assist with pick-and-pack work when not actively receiving.
