Put Away Associate
About The Position
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Put Away Associate quickly removes scanned products from the scanning area and puts them away according to the company system. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead. The role is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt. The listed schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, though schedules may vary by location. Shifts are eight hours with a 30-minute lunch break; hours are determined by workload and management. The position is on-site.
Requirements
- Be available to work on-site, generally 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; schedules may vary by location and are determined by workload and management.
- Be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
- Be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
- Be tech-savvy.
- Be able to follow written directions and company policies.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Quickly remove scanned products from the scanning area.
- Move products to the bays and place them on shelves according to auction and lot number.
- Help the team meet quantity and quality goals.
- Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and the mobile scan area.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
