About The Position

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler for its door manufacturing facility in Mocksville, North Carolina. This first-shift role works Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and pays $18 per hour. The role focuses on picking, staging, locating, and moving warehouse items to the appropriate loading dock locations, as well as handling damaged or non-conforming items for reclaim or return to vendor (RTV).

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written communication from a supervisor, lead, or co-worker.
• Six months to one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage the correct warehouse items at the appropriate loading dock location.
• Use a forklift and order picker as required.
• Use a hand-held scanner to locate items and move them to the appropriate dock door.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items to the appropriate area for reclaim or return to vendor (RTV).
