Receiving Inspector
About The Position
The Receiving Inspector ensures incoming materials meet quality standards before entering production. The role involves inspecting and processing incoming materials, verifying supplier compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation in support of the Quality Management System (QMS). The inspector works with procurement, suppliers, production, and quality teams to maintain efficient material flow, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and AS9100 requirements. The position is suited to someone with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills who works collaboratively and supports continuous improvement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to accurately interpret specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
- Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to make evidence-based decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, Word, and Outlook, or the ability to become proficient.
