About The Position

The Receiving Inspector ensures incoming materials meet quality standards before entering production. The role involves inspecting and processing incoming materials, verifying supplier compliance, and maintaining accurate documentation to support the Quality Management System (QMS). The inspector works with procurement, suppliers, production, and quality teams to support efficient material flow, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and AS9100 requirements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, organized, and comfortable making evidence-based decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They work independently and collaboratively to support quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to accurately interpret specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to make evidence-based decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Support quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inspection processes.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• Experience with computer systems.
• Proficiency in or ability to become proficient in Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and process incoming materials before they enter production.
