About The Position

The Receiving Inspector is responsible for maintaining the quality of ABX material received. The role inspects aircraft components for quality and mechanical and structural soundness, validates documentation and source approval, and updates regulatory compliance records in the ABX maintenance content management system as they relate to aircraft components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• A&P license.
• Five years of experience in all aspects of large aircraft maintenance (121, 135), with in-depth knowledge of aircraft materials and components.
• Ability to work independently and interpret task instructions related to repair specifications.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications, specifically spreadsheets and databases.
• Working knowledge of ATA chapters.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and blueprints.

Nice To Haves

• Previous auditing experience.
• Experience with computer transactions.
