Receiving Inspector

Boom Supersonic•Centennial, CO
•$30 - $45

About The Position

Boom Supersonic is building the Overture supersonic airliner and the Superpower gas turbine, requiring demanding manufacturing and rigorous part verification. The Receiving Inspector is the first line of defense, verifying that received parts match drawings and requirements. This is a hands-on inspection position involving measurement, drawing review, certification review, and decisions to accept, reject, or quarantine flight and turbine hardware. The role also contributes to the development of the company’s quality system by identifying gaps and helping shape processes. The position requires sound judgment and confidence to hold parts when they do not meet requirements, even when schedules are pressured. Inspectors make decisions supported by data while helping identify a path forward. The role involves collaboration with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and keep builds moving safely. The base rate is $30–$45 per hour, varying based on factors including location, experience, and performance. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the search is no longer active. Applicants must meet U.S. Government aerospace technology export-regulation requirements: be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
