About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Receiving Inspector to join our Quality team! This position plays a critical role in ensuring incoming materials and products meet company and customer requirements before entering production. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with computers and data entry, and committed to accuracy and quality. Previous manufacturing or inspection experience is helpful, but individuals with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of GD&T and experience using precision inspection equipment, including manual CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and pin gauges.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a methodical and organized manner.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate business software applications.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize work and transition between assignments effectively.
Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility as needed.
Ability to visually inspect materials and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Must meet U.S. Person status as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted refugee/asylum status in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing, quality, inspection, receiving, aerospace, or related industry experience is preferred.
AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management systems experience or familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect work orders per customer requirements by date for final inspection to meet production schedules.
Inspect incoming materials, components, and products for compliance with purchase order requirements, specifications, and applicable documentation.
Verify certifications, paperwork, and traceability requirements associated with received materials.
Accurately enter receiving and inspection data into the company’s ERP and quality management systems.
Review purchase orders and related documentation to ensure all requirements are met.
Communicate discrepancies, nonconformances, or documentation issues to the appropriate departments.
Maintain organized records of receiving and inspection activities.
Follow company quality procedures and AS9100/ISO requirements.
Support continuous improvement efforts within the Quality Department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
