The Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining total control of the receiving process, including following established receiving policies and procedures. This role involves verifying the count, cost, and quality of incoming merchandise, completing all required forms, records, and reports, and authorizing vendor entry through the back of the store. The clerk will operate computers and related equipment, follow detailed instructions for equipment operation, and be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Secondary functions include performing basic math, working with limited supervision, operating cashier equipment/systems, opening and closing industrial doors, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Other duties as assigned.
