About The Position

Receives incoming merchandise and supplies. Identifies discrepancies and prepares necessary paperwork. Merchandise arrives via various carriers and vendors. The role involves checking quantity, type, and quality of received goods, entering them into the Richter inventory system, and preparing necessary documentation for the business office. This includes processing chargebacks for damaged or misshipped items and handling frustrated freight. The position is located in a backup storage area.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have lived in the U.S. for three years.
  • No experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Receives incoming merchandise in backup storage area.
  • Checks quantity, type, and quality of received merchandise.
  • Enters received merchandise into the Richter inventory system.
  • Prepares receiving memos upon receipt of merchandise and forwards them to the business office.
  • Prepares manual RGRs for services, merchandise, and supplies and forwards them to the NEX business office.
  • Identifies and segregates frustrated freight, completes frustrated freight forms, and coordinates disposition with the business office.
  • Processes chargebacks for damaged or misshipped merchandise and customer returns.
  • Obtains return authorization, completes chargeback documents, and arranges for return to vendor.
  • Works in a backup storage area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
