About The Position

This role involves inspecting deliveries and completing receipt operations for incoming shipments of materials, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices. A valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required by hospital policy. The candidate must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio driver's license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training
• High school education or equivalent
• One year of receiving experience
• One year of data entry experience
• Working knowledge of lifting and transporting skills

Responsibilities

• Unloads, verifies, and inspects incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Records and reports delivery details and any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate parties.
• Communicates with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any issues with shipments.
• Stages deliveries in designated locations for delivery and putaway.
• Upkeeps records and files of received goods, processes returned goods, and tracks packages internally.
• Maintains all transporting vehicles used to move supplies throughout Hospital.
