About The Position

Chex Finer Foods, a leading distributor providing specialty and natural products to independent and chain retailers is accepting applications for Receiving Associates. This is a full-time position with a starting rate of $20.00/hour. The schedule is First Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime required as business dictates. All hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check, with ongoing screens required.

Requirements

Must be able to perform in a production measured environment where accuracy is essential.
Ability to operate a riding pallet jack in a safe manner required.
Must be a team player.
Ability to Commute: Mansfield, MA 02048 (Required)

Nice To Haves

Reach truck operation preferred.
Reach truck experience preferred.
Ride on pallet jack experience preferred.
Electric Pallet Jack Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Loads/unloads stacks and moves items as assigned.
May sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units.
May mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
May record movement of stock in/out of work areas.
Monitors materials, products, and equipment at each step of the process and reports irregularities to supervisor.
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform any other assigned tasks.
