About The Position

Quanex is seeking a Receiver to coordinate shipping and warehouse activities in support of day-to-day operations and on-time delivery objectives. The role handles raw materials, components, and finished goods; organizes daily orders; coordinates with other departments; verifies products, quantities, and labels; and prepares UPS and FedEx shipments according to customer requirements. The position is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and follows a typical Monday–Friday schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The hourly pay rate is $18.00 plus a $1.25 shift differential, with increases based on forklift certifications.

Requirements

• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to move pallets, load trucks, and safely move other items throughout the plant as necessary.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use scanners.
• Ability to follow instructions, label cartons, and prioritize daily shipments.
• Excellent understanding of safety and OSHA responsibilities.

• Previous forklift experience is preferred.
