Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • One year of warehouse or distribution experience required
  • Colorado Driver's License Class R - DMV - Department of Motor Vehicles required
  • Ability to communicate effectively using the appropriate communication channel.
  • Basic knowledge of distribution equipment, such as, pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge inventory management, purchasing processes, warehouse operations, and distribution helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Physically receives and distributes all items ordered for Denver Health operations.
  • Financially receives all items ordered for Denver Health in the ERP—Lawson.
  • Validates Purchase Orders are accurate with regard to quantities, manufacturer item numbers, unit of measures, etc.
  • Digitizes and indexes all supporting documentation and attaches these documents to the Purchase Order(s).
  • Utilizes hand held scanner to record all package transactions from carrier to the end user.
  • Prioritizes packages based on delivery expectations, delivering first overnight and next day air first and so on.
  • Determines necessary action in situations arising during the absence of the manager. Establishes priorities and coordinates work activities (i.e. transportation with supply deliveries) to meet internal/external customer needs.
  • Keeps supervisor advised of operational and other work-related problems and solves those that do not require administrative disposition.
  • Works with Purchasing to assure updates and improvements occur for each financial transaction.
