As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, requires safe lifting practices and attention to detail, and involves spending most of the shift on your feet. Shifts may be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight depending on store needs. You may also assist customers and teammates in a friendly, professional manner. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, stock and organize merchandise, verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. You may use pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other store equipment. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging flatbed delivery orders, loading orders accurately and safely, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following delivery-readiness practices. The role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions vary by location and may include indoor and outdoor work in extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Associates may encounter constant or intermittent noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary by role, weight, and volume; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, with team lifts used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker. Lowe’s offers competitive pay and flexible schedules, along with health insurance options, tuition assistance, a company-matching 401(k), an optional Employee Stock Purchase Program, a 10% associate discount, and the Track to the Trades program. The posted pay range is $16.00–$17.95 per hour; starting pay may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience. Applications are accepted on a continuing basis.
