About The Position

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and prepare your work area for daily operations. The role is physical and fast-paced, involving substantial time on your feet and work during overnight hours for this posting, depending on store needs. You may also assist customers and teammates with a friendly, professional attitude. You will unload freight, move products to the sales floor, maintain organized backrooms, and keep the workspace clean and safe. Responsibilities can include verifying deliveries, preparing the dock, using store equipment, and assisting customers with finding or loading products. At Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading and rotating orders, resolving order issues, communicating with customers about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices. The position does not require regular travel, although occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at nearby stores. Working conditions can include indoor and outdoor environments, changing climates and weather, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment must be used as required, with proper training or help from a trained coworker.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
Follow safe lifting guidelines, including limiting single lifts to 75 pounds and using team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

3 months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
Unload freight, stock merchandise, down-stock products, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation, and move products to the sales floor.
Use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to support store operations.
Follow safety procedures for hazardous materials and equipment, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
Assist customers with locating or loading products.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.

At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
