About The Position

The Receiver/Stocker helps keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, preparing pallets, verifying deliveries, completing dock preparation, and maintaining an organized backroom and workspace. Associates may help customers locate or load products and provide friendly, professional customer service. This is a physical, fast-paced position involving extended time on your feet, safe lifting practices, and careful handling of equipment and hazardous materials. Work hours may fall in the morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight depending on store needs. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, the role also includes picking and staging flatbed delivery orders, loading orders safely and accurately, rotating orders by delivery date, resolving order issues, communicating with customers, and following delivery-readiness practices.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement, if applicable.
Follow safe lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; use team lifts minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Nice To Haves

Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
Six months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Bilingual, military, or veteran talent is encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and supporting their projects.
Unload freight, stock merchandise, down-stock products, organize shelves, and set up pallets.
Verify deliveries, prepare the dock, and support store operations using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
Operate store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, and balers, as needed.
Assist customers in locating or loading products.
Work as a team player and complete other assigned tasks.
