Warehouse Part Time Days
About The Position
As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe’s, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. The role includes unloading deliveries, moving products to the sales floor, preparing the dock, verifying deliveries, and using equipment and tools safely. You may also assist customers with finding or loading products and support store operations by completing other assigned tasks. The work is physical and fast-paced, involves spending most of the shift on your feet, and may take place in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Store scheduling needs may result in morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts. This particular position is part-time and days. In Pro Fulfillment Stores, additional duties include picking, staging, and loading Flatbed Delivery orders, rotating orders by delivery date, addressing customer order issues, communicating about delivery satisfaction, and following Delivery Readiness practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.
- Follow safe lifting practices; single lifts are limited to 75 pounds, with team lifts used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
- Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
- Provide friendly and professional support to customers and teammates.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
- Bilingual, military, or veteran talent is encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering project support.
- Unload freight and stock merchandise, including down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
- Verify deliveries and complete dock preparation.
- Use pallet jacks, forklifts, and other store equipment to support operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
- Operate scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
- Assist customers in locating or loading products.
- Complete other assigned tasks as a team player.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, load delivery orders while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
- At Pro Fulfillment Stores, proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction and execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
