Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a fork truck.
  • Must be able to operate an overhead crane.
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • High school diploma
  • Experienced in aspects of fabrication
  • Experienced in reading micrometers, calipers, and any sort of fabrication measuring Apparatus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to use and convert fractions to decimal ( and vice versa).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations that arise during fabrication.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to use ERP system.
  • Open drawings from computer
  • Forklift license

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to operate a fork truck.
  • Must be able to operate an overhead crane.
  • Uses the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Count and verify all incoming material matches packing slips.
  • Accurately receives material into NetSuite.
  • Maintains proper inventory by doing periodic cycle counts.
  • Assist production by stocking components where needed.
  • Rotate inventory to use aging inventory first.
  • Keeps shop organized.
  • Creates REQ’s for purchasing.
  • Works independently with minimum Supervision.
  • Works overtime (if needed) to assure production schedule is met and lines are supplied.
  • Follows safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
