About The Position

ChristianaCare is looking for a full-time Materials Receiver at our Distribution Center. This role involves greeting drivers, ensuring products enter the correct staging area, inspecting products for damage, verifying contents against paperwork, and receiving items into the system. Requirements

High school graduate
One (1) year of Materials Receiving/Distribution experience
Experience in material handling equipment
Prior data entry experience and /or courses preferred

Responsibilities

Verify inbound products against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders (POs) to confirm correct quantities, items, and pack sizes
Inspect product condition and document discrepancies (e.g., shortages/overages)
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to key in expiration dates, receive into inventory and print/apply internal labels
Check temperature compliance for refrigerated/frozen goods
Maintain a clean, organized receiving area
Operate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) according to safety protocols
Receive and inspect incoming material in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure paperwork is complete and legible
Escalate discrepancies to clerk on duty
Stage received material for put away team
Perform other assignments as assigned by management
