About The Position

As a Realty Project Coach, you will join Walmart US's Realty Execution team, taking ownership of delivering store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure these projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. In this role, you will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, manage escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to maintain project progress. This position requires travel to projects throughout the US. This role offers the opportunity to influence others by motivating your team to meet project timelines and deliverables, fostering collaboration, and resolving concerns from store leadership, suppliers, and associates. You will have full project ownership, executing projects in assigned stores, communicating plans, changes, and obstacles to stakeholders, and minimizing impact on store operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing associates by providing supervision and development opportunities, actively listening to and acting on their ideas, training and mentoring, providing recognition, and identifying career paths.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1 year’s experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
• Experience with leading people, projects, initiatives, or leading cross-functional teams.
• Master’s degree in Business or related field.
• 1 year’s experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Management - Management Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and development opportunities for your team members.
• Spend time listening and acting on ideas, suggestions, questions, or concerns.
• Evaluate talent, train and mentor, provide recognition, and identify career paths for associates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
