About The Position

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), Real Property Tax Administration (RPTA). The incumbent performs all assigned duties in areas including: directing tax relief programs; analyzing applications; writing internal case results; and updating semi-annual real property tax accounts in the integrated tax system. Duties include, but are not limited to: planning and executing the full scope of the assignment from determining the approach, modifying or adopting procedures, interpreting results, making recommendations, preparing final reports, and presenting findings to management; conducting complex management projects and assignments related to planning, administration and execution of the real property tax relief programs; and analyzing and evaluating tax relief activities and programs. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of progressive work experience performing duties related to reviewing and updating tax accounts and databases
• Planning, organizing, and conducting studies
• Analyzing problems and applications
• Preparing narrative reports to support findings in order to implement changes in operations
• Drafting correspondence to communicate with and service customers
