About The Position

The Real Estate Development Intern gains hands-on experience supporting the evaluation and execution of real estate development projects. The role provides exposure to market research, site analysis, financial modeling, and project coordination. The intern works with the development team and external partners to learn how real estate projects progress from concept to completion. The position works between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and requires flexibility in scheduling. Travel is 0%.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, Economics, or a related field.
Detail-oriented with solid analytical and organizational skills.
Strong interest in real estate development and land use planning.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with GIS or financial modeling tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing potential development sites and portfolios through market research and site visits.
Support basic financial modeling and feasibility analysis under guidance from senior analysts.
Help prepare presentations, memos, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in team meetings and calls with brokers, consultants, and municipal representatives.
Contribute to due diligence by organizing documents and summarizing key findings.
Analyze demographic, economic, and zoning data to assess market trends and development potential.
Track project schedules, budgets, and contracts with support from the team.
Help maintain relationships with brokers and property owners to identify new opportunities.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
