Real Estate Portfolio Manager
About The Position
The Real Estate Portfolio Manager provides tactical, strategic, and transactional oversight of Republic Services’ owned and leased real estate portfolio in partnership with Real Estate leadership. The position manages relationships with external brokers and company operations leadership and contributes to developing and implementing portfolio strategy. This is an in-office position, with four days per week in the office and one day per week remote. The office is in North Phoenix near the Tatum Boulevard exit off the 101, and applicants must currently reside in the greater Phoenix area.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, easements, licenses, and condemnations.
- Recent experience with real estate software and data management.
- Advanced knowledge of corporate real estate and related financial terms and principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with a corporate legal team.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must currently reside in the greater Phoenix area.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the real estate point of contact for staff and field operations on acquisitions and site selection, dispositions, leases, easements, licenses, condemnations, and related matters.
- Coordinate broker services and activities, including engagement documents, pipeline and status reports, and critical-date tracking.
- Contribute to developing and implementing portfolio strategy and optimization.
- Communicate real estate contract terms and partner with the Legal Team on real estate-related contracts.
- Support staff and field operations with real estate-related business cases.
- Manage real estate-related data and provide reporting, analytics, and KPIs.
