About The Position

Genesis Global Group is a consortium of vertically integrated companies, with a mission of improving patient’s care through cross linking our expertise, dedication, and vision in the fields of drug discovery, personalized and tailored clinical diagnostics, and through the development, manufacturing and distribution of unique biotechnology-based products. We are currently hiring a Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in our Hamilton, NJ office.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of paralegal experience; experience in real estate law (commercial preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, responsive, and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments and follow through to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or with a commercial real estate company, developer, or property management firm is a plus.
  • Familiarity with real estate transactions, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, and closings; exposure to title and survey review (including title commitments and exception documents) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with and support the drafting and review of commercial and residential leases and amendments, purchase and sale agreements, estoppels, SNDAs, financing and closing documents.
  • Coordinate and track due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions, including organizing and reviewing zoning reports, Phase I environmental reports, surveys, and title materials.
  • Maintain detailed closing checklists and coordinate with lenders, title companies, surveyors, and outside counsel to facilitate timely and organized closings.
  • Support property-related matters, including document collection and organization for tax appeals, evictions, and insurance claims.
  • Organize and manage documentation for property-related matters, including tax appeals, insurance claims, and legal filings.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, track deadlines, and proactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
