About The Position

Edgewood Properties, a leading real estate development and property management company founded in 1992, is experiencing rapid growth with plans to double its apartment portfolio to over 12,000 units in the next five years. We are seeking a full-time Real Estate Paralegal to join our corporate headquarters in Piscataway, NJ. This role will support complex real estate transactions and commercial projects, providing legal and administrative expertise to ensure smooth closings and effective project management. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual comfortable with large loan transactions and commercial projects, who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and contribute effectively from day one.

Requirements

6+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a commercial or residential setting.
Strong understanding of real estate law, loan documentation, and closing procedures.
Strong experience handling commercial loan closings.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and manage legal documents related to real estate transactions.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external parties to ensure seamless transaction flow.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all real estate projects and loan closings.
Assist in due diligence and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Support senior attorneys and team members as needed on complex commercial and residential transactions.
