About The Position

The Real Estate Operations Intern supports property operations through data analysis, financial modeling, performance reporting, and market research. The intern helps evaluate property performance against budgets and historical results, prepares reports for property owners and stakeholders, and works with property management, leasing, and finance teams on initiatives to improve portfolio performance.

Requirements

• Pursuing a college degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Analytics, Property Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing property-related data to identify trends and insights.
• Contribute to analytical models that evaluate property performance against budgets and historical figures.
• Contribute to performance reports for property owners and stakeholders.
• Support financial modeling related to actual-to-budget valuations and key performance indicators.
• Assist in preparing reports on property financial performance.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities to improve the portfolio.
• Collaborate with the team to assess the impact of market dynamics on property management strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including property managers, leasing teams, and finance professionals.
• Collaborate on special projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall property performance.
