This role is responsible for auditing closed loan files to ensure all documentation and signatures are present. The clerk will also be responsible for obtaining post-closing Lender's Title Policies and receiving the Deed of Trust and Release of Lien from the Register of Deeds office in each county. Additionally, the position involves completing the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting to the Federal Reserve Board, contacting third parties for missing documentation, and performing Government Monitoring on all mortgage files. The role also includes answering phones, providing backup assistance for email distribution and online applications, cross-selling lending products and credit union services, adhering to all credit union policies and regulations, representing the credit union professionally, maintaining attendance, and working cooperatively with others. Other duties as assigned.
