About The Position

The Wawa Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a collaborative corporate environment, where they work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful business projects, and build skills that support their academic and professional growth. Throughout the summer, interns participate in professional development and networking opportunities with fellow interns and company leaders. The program culminates in a capstone presentation, where interns showcase key projects, accomplishments, and the impact of their contributions. We are currently seeking two interns to join our Real Estate team for Summer 2027. Interns will be aligned to one of the two focus areas based on their interests, experience, and skills: Real Estate Operations: Supporting property management, site acquisition, open-store projects, remodels, and new-store growth. Location Analytics & Data: Supporting analytics, reporting, data governance, data quality, business systems, and location-based decision-making.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2030.
• Ability to work onsite at Wawa Corporate Headquarters in Media, PA, four days per week throughout the internship program.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship, project, or leadership experience related to Real Estate is preferred.
• Experience with data analytics tools (GIS, Python, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and/or knowledge of statistics, data visualization, database concepts, or data quality and governance practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support real estate projects that drive new store growth, remodels, and property management initiatives.
• Analyze location, market, and operational data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
• Assist with reporting, dashboard development, and ad hoc analytics to provide insights across the Real Estate organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project coordination, system enhancements, and process improvements.
• Help maintain data accuracy, troubleshoot reporting issues, and support business systems and technology initiatives.
• Build presentations, reports, and recommendations that support strategic planning and operational excellence.
